What we are looking for
Desired education
Associate's or bachelor's degree (preferably in art, design, web design or a related degree)
General knowledge
Knowledge of web design conventions
Knowledge of user experience, web standards, optimisation and best practices
HTML5 and CSS3 skills are essential
Basic knowledge of PHP / MySQL
Knowledge of open source CMS such as WordPress
Knowledge of responsive design best practices
Experience
Strong English (written and verbal). CV must be in English to be considered.
Minimum 1 year (2 years or more desired) experience as a web designer
Impressive portfolio with a proven track record in web design
Excellent Photoshop skills
Ability to quickly create modern CSS layouts

Create prototypes for homepages, internal pages and more
Designing and building responsive websites
WordPress CMS theme compiles (programmers code and compile custom functions)
Design of infographics
Landing page design
Designing graphic advertisements
Social brand design and competitions
UX Projects
Develop A / B tests
Percentage breakdown
35% designing homepage and inner page prototypes for various clients using Adobe Creative Suite
25% helping to build/launch websites for various clients using HTML, CSS and PHP
25% working on client site enhancements in various CMS, including WordPress
15% creating online ads, social media branding and identity, and content marketing pieces such as infographics
